War. This could never be called a real war. There is no honour in these battles. Everyday people are sent out, troop after troop, gun in hands, pockets filled with explosives, to destroy an enemy they will probably never come within five feet of.

They train a man for five years, give him a gun and tell him he’s a solider, take him to the battle field and say he has every right to kill another man, he will never see, by shooting him in the head. When the war is over, he comes home the hero, because he fought to save his country, because he showed real honour - because he killed forty men he never saw, destroyed forty families he never knew existed.
And they call him a hero.

They give a man between £12,578 and £22,918 a year to get into a ship and sink the enemy’s royal navy. He gives his life to go down in a sub to fire torpedoes at battle ships. This man is given between £12, 578 and £22, 918 to drown. A monument is then put up in his honour, his name engraved in stone for eternity – but they never find the body. This man is named a hero because he died to save his country, because he showed real honour - because he sunk two ships full of thousands of people, got caught in the blast zone and killed his crew.
And they call him a hero.

Then they think to give the power of a weapon that could wipe out millions to one man piloting a plane.

Call it war if you will, but it is a war without honour. Somewhere out there is a person who loves you who you didn’t even know existed. Somewhere out there is a whole country you’d do anything to protect until the government says they’re the enemy. Somewhere out there is family.
If you fight this war, you kill them.
And they call it honour.
